Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu A`budū Rabbakumu Al-La dhī Khalaqakum Wa Al-La dhīna Min Qablikum La`allakum Tattaqūna O mankind! worship your Lord, Who hath created you and those before you, so that ye may ward off (evil). Yakādu Al-Barqu Ya khţafu 'Abşārahum Kullamā 'Ađā'a Lahum Ma shaw Fīhi Wa 'I dhā 'Alama `Alayhim Qāmū Wa Law Shā'a Allāhu La dhahaba Bisam`ihim Wa 'Abşārihim 'Inna Allāha `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun If Allah willed, He could destroy their hearing and their sight. As often as it flasheth forth for them they walk therein, and when it darkeneth against them they stand still. The lightning almost snatcheth away their sight from them. 'Aw Kaşayyibin Mina As-Samā'i Fīhi ulumātun Wa Ra`dun Wa Barqun Yaj`alūna 'Aşābi`ahum Fī 'Ā dhānihim Mina Aş-Şawā`iqi Ĥa dhara Al-Mawti Wa Allāhu Muĥīţun Bil-Kāfirīna They thrust their fingers in their ears by reason of the thunder-claps, for fear of death, Allah encompasseth the disbelievers (in His guidance, His omniscience and His omnipotence). Or like a rainstorm from the sky, wherein is darkness, thunder and the flash of lightning.
Ma thaluhum Kama thali Al-La dhī Astawqada Nārāan Falammā 'Ađā'at Mā Ĥawlahu Dhahaba Allāhu Binūrihim Wa Tarakahum Fī ulumātin Lā Yubşirūnaĭeaf, dumb and blind and they return not. Their likeness is as the likeness of one who kindleth fire, and when it sheddeth its light around him Allah taketh away their light and leaveth them in darkness, where they cannot see, 'Ūlā'ika Al-La dhīna A shtaraw Ađ-Đalālata Bil-Hudá Famā Rabiĥat Tijāratuhum Wa Mā Kānū Muhtadīna These are they who purchase error at the price of guidance, so their commerce doth not prosper, neither are they guided. Wa 'I dhā Laqū Al-La dhīna 'Āmanū Qālū 'Āmannā Wa 'I dhā Khalaw 'Ilá Shayāţīnihim Qālū 'Innā Ma`akum 'Innamā Naĥnu Mustahzi'ūnaĪllah (Himself) doth mock them, leaving them to wander blindly on in their contumacy.Īllāhu Yastahzi'u Bihim Wa Yamudduhum Fī Ţu ghyānihim Ya`mahūna Wa 'I dhā Qīla Lahum 'Āminū Kamā 'Āmana An-Nāsu Qālū 'Anu'uminu Kamā 'Āmana As-Sufahā'u 'Alā 'Innahum Humu As-Sufahā'u Wa Lakin Lā Ya`lamūnaĪnd when they fall in with those who believe, they say: We believe but when they go apart to their devils they declare: Lo! we are with you verily we did but mock. 'Alā 'Innahum Humu Al-Mufsidūna Wa Lakin Lā Ya sh`urūnaĪnd when it is said unto them: believe as the people believe, they say: shall we believe as the foolish believe? are not they indeed the foolish? But they know not. Wa 'I dhā Qīla Lahum Lā Tufsidū Fī Al-'Arđi Qālū 'Innamā Naĥnu MuşliĥūnaĪre not they indeed the mischief-makers? But they perceive not. A painful doom is theirs because they lie.įī Qulūbihim Marađun Fazādahumu Allāhu Marađāan Wa Lahum `A dhābun 'Alīmun Bimā Kānū Yak dhibūnaĪnd when it is said unto them: Make not mischief in the earth, they say: We are peacemakers only. In their hearts is a disease, and Allah increaseth their disease. Yu khādi`ūna Allāha Wa Al-La dhīna 'Āmanū Wa Mā Ya khda`ūna 'Illā 'Anfusahum Wa Mā Ya sh`urūna They think to beguile Allah and those who believe, and they beguile none save themselves but they perceive not. Wa Mina An-Nāsi Man Yaqūlu 'Āmannā Billāhi Wa Bil-Yawmi Al-'Ā khiri Wa Mā Hum Bimu'uminīna Khatama Allāhu `Alá Qulūbihim Wa `Alá Sam`ihim Wa `Alá 'Abşārihim Ghi shāwatun Wa Lahum `A dhābun `AīmunĪnd of mankind are some who say: We believe in Allah and the Last Day, when they believe not. 'Inna Al-La dhīna Kafarū Sawā'un `Alayhim 'A 'An dhartahum 'Am Lam Tun dhirhum Lā Yu'uminūnaĪllah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. 'Ūlā'ika `Alá Hudáan Min Rabbihim Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-MufliĥūnaĪs for the Disbelievers, Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them they believe not. These depend on guidance from their Lord. Wa Al-La dhīna Yu'uminūna Bimā 'Unzila 'Ilayka Wa Mā 'Unzila Min Qablika Wa Bil-'Ā khirati Hum Yūqinūna Who believe in the Unseen, and establish worship, and spend of that We have bestowed upon them Īl-La dhīna Yu'uminūna Bil- Ghaybi Wa Yuqīmūna Aş-Şalāata Wa Mimmā Razaqnāhum YunfiqūnaĪnd who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter. This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who ward off (evil).ĭhālika Al-Kitābu Lā Rayba Fīhi Hudáan Lilmuttaqīna
